“Millennium electrical came up with various options for the control of our plant and collection of the production data that we required. The option that we went with was one involving a Siemens S7 processor with distributed IO, and multiple touch screens around the plant. The overview is via an I Fix SCADA. All of the information is now available in our office via a new fibre optic data link that Millennium Electrical also specified and installed.


Our production staff have found the transition from the old ways to the new very easy to deal with. We believe this to be at least in part to the training of our staff by Millennium Electrical technical support engineers and the layout of the operating screens being in a logical format.

Emma Foods started using Millennium Electrical in July 2004.We asked for a complete upgrade of our processing area, a very harsh environment with large amounts of steam, brine, sauces & water. Wash downs consist of high pressure water sprays combined with in plant chlorination & foam cleaners .By using the best available electrics Millennium have given us a safe working environment, plus breakdowns & call outs have reduced dramatically. Another service they carried out for us for Health & Safety was a complete Electrical Compliance update. After 2 years in partnership with Millennium we are satisfied with their quick responses & efficiencies.

Meadow Mushrooms Ltd


We at Meadow Mushrooms Ltd. have recently completed the renovation our oldest mushroom growing unit at Wilmers Road in Hallswell, and Millennium Electrical Ltd. were responsible for all of the electrical work on the 3-month project. This involved the sequential removal, room by room, of all electrical services, internal walls, a/c units etc, and basically stripped each room in turn right back to just portals and roof. Each room was then rebuilt, and the walls, a/c units and all electrical services were renewed and upgraded. A key component of this complex project was the requirement to maintain production throughout the renovation, and therefore continue to use 'old' rooms as long as possible and to get 'new' rooms into production by certain critical deadlines, and the Millennium Electrical technicians executed this work most professionally, to a high standard, and always within the required timeframe.
