Millennium was engaged by Enable Networks to carry out feasibility of installation of 3x Electric Vehicle Chargers a carpark in the Christchurch CBD. We worked with Enable to meet the current operational requirements as well as allowing for future expansion. We developed a solution that was tailored to benefit our customer and their budget.
The overall job took place over a period of 2 months; Stage 1 was installation of the mains cabling through to the point of supply as well as installation of the Electric Vehicle Chargers. Stage 2 was Installation, Termination & Livening of the Main Switchboard. Stage 3 was commissioning of the EV Chargers.

This job was complex in its own way by having to navigate around live traffic, being a carpark there were always cars about trying to either enter or exit, we worked with our customer to cater for these busy traffic periods. The highlight in this job was seeing how far technology has developed to be able to setup and commission these EV Chargers with a simple mobile application. Our customers’ requirements were met, and a satisfying outcome was achieved.
